Looking for a dry early season overnighter, we took the train from London to Lowestoft, rode with the wind behind us down the coast to Orford for dinner before camping up the road near Butley.
Day One Highlights:
The Canteen☕️ - Good coffee and nice looking lunch options
Two Magpies 🥐 - Great window display of carbs
Snape Maltings 🏭 - Worth a look around
Jolly Sailor 🍺 - Beer and chips before dinner

Butley to Ipswich

Waking up to 3 degree temps, the pack-up was cold and with the Felixstow - Bawdsley ferry only opening at 10am we needed to take the winter route through Melton to get to the train in Ipswich on time. Honey and Harvey opening at 8am on Sunday was much needed to warm up and get some breakfast in before taking an indirect route through to Ipswich and finishing up the trip.
Day Two Highlights:
Honey And Harvey ☕️
